The Lodge 12.7 cm cast iron skillet is perfect for small appetizers and sauces. A timeless value for all kitchens and cooking methods.

Ideal for cooking, sautéing, frying, serving.

Instructions for use and care:

  • Hand wash. Dry immediately before first use.
  • Rub with a light coating of vegetable oil after each wash.
  • Avoid using in the microwave oven.
  • Use utensils made of silicone, metal, wood, or high-temperature materials.
  • Gradually bring the skillet to the desired temperature and add oil just before adding food.
  • Wash with mild soapy water and dry immediately, coating with oil.

If you see rust, clean the rust, rinse, dry, and rub with a little vegetable oil.

Reconditioning the cast iron cookware:

  • Wash the cookware with warm soapy water and a stiff brush.
  • Apply a very thin, even coating of cooking oil to the cookware.
  • Bake the cookware at 180 - 200°C for at least one hour.
