The volume includes notes that were written for the presentation of Greek editions. They comment from a historical perspective on original and translated books, which refer to classical and late antiquity as well as more contemporary periods. Most of them emerged on the occasion of a specific edition with which they converse within the framework of the broader Greek-language production. Together, they provide a more comprehensive picture of the interest that exists today in Greece for social, political, and economic history of antiquity, historiography, ancient Greek religion, Christianity, and art. They also highlight the delays observed around significant topics and long periods.
