Built-in Multifunction: The DMR radio features channel scanning, manual programming, DTMF, VFO, SMS, emergency alarm, digital remote control operation, CTCSS and DCS, and DMR encryption functions. There are 4 custom keys for quicker access to these functions.

Long Durability and Long Standby: The DR-1801UV has high-efficiency power saving and energy saving. The 2200mAh battery supports up to 17 hours of working time and 30 hours of standby time and can be fully charged in just 4 hours.

DMO True 2 Time Slot: Direct communication with dual Slots achieves two call groups on one frequency point simultaneously, so communication efficiency is doubled and frequency resources are saved. Compatible with MOTOTRBO Tier I & II and other DMR radios.

Baofeng DMR-1801..! Okay, I can say it's value for money! (for a handheld). I rated the battery low because it didn't last. It had a "problem". So, I had to get another one. Now, everything is good..... it has a big difference with the new battery. There are several firmwares available on the internet. Overall, it receives and transmits well. 73!

One complaint only...the battery of it...even though I take it out with green indicating it's fully charged...when I turn it on, in 30 seconds from 3 it goes down to 2 the battery...I made a smart purchase and I can't find a way to contact for replacement

There is nothing close to this money, so it's a dead end. Good construction for baofeng and satisfactory battery. It accepts a few settings from its keyboard, it definitely needs programming from a PC, especially for DMR-related settings, and the program requires familiarity. I won't say anything about reception, transmission, antenna, etc., the known baofeng features, super for its price.

Regarding the programming cable.
There is no compatible cable on the market, everyone thinks it's the same as the Anytone's (which I have), but it doesn't work.

What I did (at my own risk)
I took a USB extension, stripped the cable to find the 4 wires it consists of. I left the black and red untouched and reversed the other 2. I connected the Anytone cable to the extension and it worked straight away. That's why the Anytone cable doesn't fit, the data wires (+/-) are reversed. Beware of short circuits.

In general, if there are not many requirements, for use in the city with repeaters or for a hotspot, it is excellent for its price.

Ο κωδικός μοντέλου DMR1801 δεν είναι ακριβής. Γνωρίζει κανείς αν είναι το DM1801 (η πρώτη έκδοση που παίρνει openGD77) ή το DR1801 (μεταγενέστερη έκδοση που δε δέχεται firmware);
