HDR Types

Technologies that enhance contrast and color performance for a more realistic image. There are various HDR standards, such as HDR10, Dolby Vision, HLG, and HDR10+, with differences in quality and display capabilities.
Local Dimming
Yes

Local Dimming

LED TVs use LED backlighting behind the screen. LED TVs with Local Dimming capability can illuminate different areas of the screen with different intensities, achieving better local black performance and contrast compared to regular LEDs.

OLED TVs do not require this technology as the lighting is integrated into each individual pixel and can be completely turned off, providing absolute black and even better contrast.

Audio

Channels
Stereo

Channels

Channels refer to the number and type of individual speakers contained in the television and are described by 2 numbers separated by a dot. The first number refers to how many full-range speakers (speakers for the entire frequency range) the television contains, while the second refers to how many subwoofer-type speakers (speakers specialized for bass frequencies). For example, a television with 2.1 speakers has 2 regular speakers and 1 subwoofer.

2. Almost all television programs are stereo (for playback from at least 2 speakers), meaning they are designed to sound different in each of the 2 speakers to give the listener a sense of space. More speakers make this feeling even more realistic, and the presence of a subwoofer gives fuller bass.

Stereo
Most televisions have stereo speakers, meaning they contain 2 speakers for stereo sound (sound with depth).
Power
20 W

Power

The sum of the power of the TV speakers. Most TVs have 2 speakers of 10 watts each, which add up to 20 watts.

The TV speakers are sufficient for basic use, but for an improved experience, it is recommended to use a Soundbar or a Home Cinema system.

+ Τρομερά χρώματα out of the box.

4K Ultra HD

Resolution

The quality of the image that the television is capable of providing, which comes in the following values: HD Ready, Full HD (1080p), 4K Ultra HD, and 8K Ultra HD.

4K Ultra HD
4K Ultra HD TVs have the ability to display high-definition content with a resolution of 3840x2160. It is by far the most common resolution now.
Refresh Rate
120 Hz

Refresh Rate

The refresh rate is the number of frames per second that a TV can display and is expressed in hertz (Hz). Most TVs are 50/60 Hz, while some are 100 or 120 Hz. Higher frame rates offer smoother images (without stuttering or blurring) in fast-paced scenes such as sports or action movies.
Type of Panel
Full Array LED

Type of Panel

The technology used by television to display images.

Full Array LED
Development of Edge LED technology where LED lights, which provide illumination for the pixels of the television, are placed directly behind the panel in a dense arrangement. Televisions with this technology provide higher image quality compared to Edge and Direct LED.
HDR Types
-
