Great job, just the only bad thing is that it kills anything that flies... from butterflies to bumblebees

Quite powerful both in light and performance, just in a cheap-looking casing. It could have had a better insect collection tray, which is an unacceptable strip of plastic like a cable channel cover. Overall, it does not give the impression of a quality device. For a month now it has been doing the job honestly, killing even the tiniest flies.

Its dimensions are 25.5 x 7.5 x 25. It is small in size and the gaps between the wires are large for mosquitoes. From what I understood, the 30W one has the same characteristics but is twice as long.

The product is definitely an insect trap but it mainly attracts moths. Mosquitoes and flies, even at night, are not attracted to a satisfactory degree. You could say that the two specific species just happened to pass in front of the trap and were eliminated. Of course, 90% of the insects that enter there do not come out again, so it does its job.

I give it 3 stars because my problem with flies and mosquitoes was not addressed satisfactorily.

However, it has a nice atmospheric purple color.

I don't know if the other reviews that the AI finds are actually real or for this model (ESPERANZA EXTERMINATOR ELECTRIC INSECT TRAP LED 12W EHQ003) but for me, from May 29, 2026, Friday, turning it on every night until today, June 1, 2026 (Pentecost), it lasted three nights. From the second night, out of the two purple fluorescent lamps it had, when I pressed its switch to turn on, the top lamp lit up strongly white at the edges for a while and after a few seconds it became fully normal purple. I turned it on and off two or three times and it did the same. On June 1, when I turned it on for the last time, it made a small pop and did not turn on again. It did not trip the fuse in the panel. But at the top of the device where the switch is, it smelled burnt.
P.S. It is not LED. It has two purple fluorescent 6w bulbs each (ling feng bl t5 f6w).

Nothing, it kills everything except mosquitoes. It's as if they are trained not to go there. You can hear the sound, but what gets killed are little flies, etc. The mosquitoes continue their party undisturbed. I wouldn't recommend it to anyone, nor would I ever buy it again..

The review concerns the Swift 30W EHQ007 model: Whatever moves is executed by the machine. Mosquitoes, gnats, winged ants, flies are effortlessly vaporized.

The most useless purchase, it doesn't attract anything, all the days I've had it nothing has landed on it or it is completely ignored. It definitely doesn't work for mosquitoes, get an electric racket instead. Stay away.

Very efficient, makes a loud (satisfying) noise. My neighbor thought i had an electrical short-circuit problem

It is not what I expected.. I put it on the balcony and all the insects gathered and some bit me, my legs swelled, I got an infection and had to go to the hospital.. it is not suitable for outdoor use, it attracts everything instead of burning them..

it's quite bright at night but I don't mind, I cover it with something in front. it does the job, it's good (it sends the mosquito to another dimension)

Excellent, in my village where I put it at night, it killed everything. From small flies, to moths, mosquitoes, bumblebees, etc. Worth it!

It kills anything that flies, immediately. We had a problem with gnats and mosquitoes, and in the photo I show the victims. 30 every day, inside the house. Another one I have in the yard works nonstop. Very good.

The mosquitoes are laughing. I don't know if the mosquitoes are trained to avoid it, but I don't see it attracting them particularly. Let me give some statistics. In about 2 weeks of operation, it killed 3-4 mosquitoes out of the many that unfortunately entered the house. To be honest, I didn't hang it somewhere high. It was on a chair. I don't believe that was the reason though. It simply doesn't do anything to the mosquitoes.

It does kill other insects though, like small gnats, little flies, etc., but what's the point? I wanted to see dead mosquitoes.

On the plus side, whatever comes close dies.

So far, it does its job well without any problems. The question is how long it will last. I might come back to change my review if it breaks

No effectiveness for flies, for mosquitoes I have some reservations that maybe, generally some dazed bugs wander around, it only succeeds with small moths. Maybe some injured bug might fall victim to it one day :P

It does a very good job! I turn it on two hours before I go to sleep (I watch a movie or something) and then I sleep peacefully. The ZAP sound when the mosquitoes get zapped is incredibly satisfying!!!

It doesn’t help at all, nothing! Don’t even buy this thing, you will loose your time only. I switched it on in my small room (17m2) and flys felt pretty good, no problem, they have been just flying around and paid no attention to this thing. So during all day not even one fly has been cached and killed .

After a week, the lamps suddenly stopped lighting up. When I plug it in with the switch off, it seems to have power because I checked it with a voltage detector and the latter buzzes normally. As soon as I turn on the switch, the tool stops detecting power and the lamps do not light up. I might try to open it and check it better with a multimeter in case something is burned out or not making proper contact, but most likely it will end up in the trash. While it was working, it did the job and collected quite a few flies, both big and small.

Quite a good device, it does the job. Be careful when cleaning it, as the resistors may move due to poor soldering from the factory and it may stop working properly.

Update 10/6/25: The device is quite good for its price. For users who say it doesn't work properly, it is a simple resistor device. If you move the resistors or the wires close together after removing the cover, the resistors will start working again.

It is good... I would have liked the thin bulbs and at first there was a problem with the switch which fixed itself... for the money I paid, everything is fine

It did its job for a few days. After a week, one bulb burned out. On the 13th day, the second one burned out as well. Not worth it

first day of use and it has really done genocide...
in an outdoor dark area with a lot of greenery around, placed in a dark spot at a distance from where we sit, it has cleared out everything that flies
(a tip to get better results: I put in a 1.5-liter bottle two cups of hot water (not boiling), four tablespoons of sugar, and two packets of dry yeast in this order and do not stir it, close it on top with aluminum foil, make some holes for it to breathe, and hang it next to the device)

Very good trap. We had one before this but it didn't do such a good job. I would definitely buy it again.

Minus one star as I would expect a base inside the package so I can place it wherever I want. Minus another star because at the spot where I have (necessarily) placed it, it has minimal performance and does not attract mosquitoes from the lamps. I hardly use it anymore as I get the job done with an electric racket.

Now, for those who complain about the noise from the mosquitoes being electrocuted, what did you expect? Isn't it logical?

Every now and then an insect hits it (and it makes a very loud noise), but its bulbs don't seem to be very "attractive" to insects...

Kills everything. I was mostly interested in flies, and it doesn't leave any. Of course, it makes noise when an insect hits the grid, but since it's effective, it's not a disadvantage for me because I had another one before that didn't last even six months. It did kill, but many times it just stunned them; they would fall but not die.

Finally, I slept! Not to mention, I also cleared the neighborhood of mosquitoes. I'm a superhero and no one will know! From the first night, it created a "carpet" of dead mosquitoes.
I will update with more news.

Very effective. Be careful at first, I had it permanently on and one fuse inside burned out, I fixed it and for a year and a half now it works without any problem.
