Description

Yay! Penny and her friends are going to London. Thanks to grandma, of course, who won a trip for five people.

But, they haven't even arrived properly when grandma's gold necklace disappears. And Emily, the tour guide, kept telling them they had to be very careful of pickpockets. Not to mention this isn't the only theft. Everything suggests that it has to do with a professional.

Luckily, the detectives are all here. The hunt for the culprit takes Penny and her girlfriends to every corner of the city...

A few words about the series

A lighthearted, clever, and entertaining series, with modern black-and-white illustrations, plenty of humor, many mysteries, and quite a few comical situations.

Penny is 10 years old and her dream is to become a detective. She sees mysteries and suspects everywhere: What’s going on with the bloodthirsty neighbors? Why has the school janitor transformed from grumpy and abrupt to a polite gentleman? And what is he preparing in his little room? What’s happening with the strange and grumpy man she happened to meet on the street?

Characterized by:

  • Smart mystery plots adapted for children.
  • Plenty of humor and entertaining situations.
  • Vivid and relatable characters with whom young readers can identify.
  • Highlighting the value of friendship, cooperation, and observation.

Today, when I was at grandma’s with Flora, Marie, and Ida, something SUPER exciting happened! But not right away. First, we helped my grandma—well, mostly Ida—to eat all her cake, just in case it went bad. Not a crumb was left, grandma said. Rosie, grandma’s little dog, was sprawled out on the rug, while Justin and Miley were jumping over her, using her as an obstacle for practice, just to mess up our nice gathering. Grandma went to turn on the TV to watch “Farmer Wants a Wife,” when the doorbell rang. Three times.
