The wine appears quite complex, precisely because of the blend from many different regions. From the Côte de Nuits, it usually has its upright structure and tannin; from the Hautes Côtes, it gains rich fruit and freshness. The wine is stored partly in stainless steel tanks and partly in oak barrels for 9-16 months, depending on the year. It is a very typical Pinot Noir, which will develop into more complex and with quite a few aromas over time.
