Description

The Jean-Pierre Moueix family has specialized in fine Bordeaux wines since 1937. Today, they own a series of remarkable Châteaux in the region. For 85 years, they have been sourcing the best grapes cultivated by local farmers and producing wines that are balanced, elegant, and reflective of the distinctive terroirs of this renowned area.

The unique quality of Pomerol lies in its geology: clay and gravel at the center of the plateau and variations of gravel, sand, and clay as the elevation decreases. These soils are ideally suited for the Merlot grape, which offers youthful charm and accessibility combined with exceptional longevity when grown in this terroir. These geological features yield rich, powerful, and seductive wines that exhibit remarkable balance and elegance.

  • 95% Merlot
