Description

The Jean-Pierre Moueix family specializes in fine Bordeaux wines since 1937. Today, it owns a range of notable Châteaux in the region. For 85 years, they source the best grapes grown by local farmers and produce wines that are balanced, elegant, and reflect the distinct terroirs of this famous area.

Renowned for the quality of its wines since the 1st century, Saint-Émilion is one of the oldest and most recognized wine regions in France. The characteristic elegance and complexity of the wines produced there is due to the clay-limestone soils. The limestone provides elegance, structure, and minerality while the clay brings depth, richness, and generosity.

Personally selected by Christian and Edouard Moueix, the JEAN-PIERRE MOUEIX SAINT-ÉMILION consists of 85% Merlot and 15% Cabernet Franc. The wine is blended and aged in the historic cellars of Quai Du Priourat in Libourne, benefiting from all the care and expertise of the Jean-Pierre Moueix winemaking team.
