The dADB, ART's dual active direct box, functions as two standalone, high-quality active interfaces for connecting instruments, line or speaker level signals to balanced inputs.
The high-impedance ¼-inch inputs are converted by ultra-low-noise active electronics to balanced, low-impedance outputs. The dADB provides excellent frequency response, even at high input levels, making it an ideal DI solution.
Here are some features of the dADB:
- Input attenuation on each channel for a wide range of source signals.
- Independent thru jacks for creating signal chains.
- Ground lift switches on each channel for noise reduction of input and output signals.
- Bessel low pass filters to eliminate high-frequency interference.
- Attractive filter circuits to eliminate radio interference.
- Minimal noise from electronic devices.
The active circuit of the dADB is powered by phantom power or an internal 9V battery, providing over 100 hours of operation with alkaline batteries. The black metal chassis and design promise long-lasting and reliable use in Live Sound, installations, DJing, or any other PA application.
