The creators of Tullamore, following the successful recipe of the most beloved Irish whiskey, proceeded to create Tullamore Dew XO Caribbean Rum Cask. Keeping the same recipe with the blend of the three types of Irish whiskey and the same aging process with its triple maturation, they added one more stage that gives Tullamore Dew XO Caribbean Rum Cask its unique and distinctive flavor, aging it once again in barrels that contained rum from the Caribbean, which is a global innovation in whiskey production. On the palate, it has a creamy smooth sensation that highlights notes of caramel, banana, and raisin, while its finish is prolonged with a slight sweetness.

    Personal opinion: much better than the equivalent Dewar's, I can't compare it to Balvenie as it is three times the price. For my taste, it is dangerously delicious and sweet. Nice hints of tropical fruits. The bottle emptied very quickly.
