I had the equivalent of Braun for 6,7 years and it did its job, it stopped working and I decided to try Philips as it was a bit more economical, it is generally a bit smaller and lighter than the silk epil 3, it makes a little more noise, it has a slightly larger head so theoretically it removes more hair in each movement. Also, its light has a smaller range than the light of Braun due to its position on the device. I will not mention pain because I have been doing hair removal for many years so I no longer feel pain, surely for a new user there will be pain, but with any hair removal device, not just this one! Generally, most devices of this kind remove and cut some hairs! I do hair removal every week and now with the silk epil, the result is quite similar, maybe Philips cuts some hairs a little more instead of removing them. Its construction seems a bit "cheaper" than Braun's, overall for its price (34€) to do relatively frequent hair removal (if you want to always have the perfect, smooth result), it is a good choice!
