It is not better than the Kryonaut I had before for AMD 7700x with water cooling, AI OC and Expo II 6000mhz, but I definitely wanted to try it before I eventually move to Kryonaut Extreme. I didn't see any temperature differences and that's because Kryonaut dries out very quickly and needs more frequent changes. Unfortunately, I didn't keep any measurements from when I first applied it, but only shortly before the change.

And here comes the real reason I chose it. According to research on American YouTube channels, I discovered that compared to all the others that fit the profile of my setup, Hydronaut will keep me at good temperatures and won't dry out quickly. This is something that concerns me a lot, because I don't play every day and I don't play for many hours, so I won't be dealing with it again very soon.

In case someone plays for hours and every day, they should prefer it, since compared to Kryonaut and Kryonaut Extreme it will last longer before it dries out and loses its conductivity, unless they are an enthusiast and deal with cleaning and paste changing often.

Now, if someone wants to do OC and push their computer to the limit, yes, go for Kryonaut Extreme, it has better longevity than the regular one and higher performance, since under these conditions longevity doesn't matter, but performance does.

I give it 5 stars, because it promises the longest duration for AMD 7700x and water cooling at very good temperatures. 100% GPU and 82% CPU at 77°C, for me that's amazing. Previously, under the same conditions with Kryonaut, I had a max of 75°C, but that's a small difference (again, these measurements are from just before the change when the paste had somewhat dried out).

The spatulas inside are a waste of time. Draw an X with the paste on your processor and end the debate on how to do it. There are countless videos to watch, without spatulas, credit cards, and the like. Also, prefer the frame from the same company for less warping of the processor surface and better conductivity.
