Small and user-friendly. I expected the water to heat up faster, but the speed is fair for its size. It has an automatic shut-off when it boils, but only when the lid is closed, and also protection against overheating if it runs out of water. I was also surprised that it caught traces of salt in the areas where the resistance is located, from the first use (one boiling for cleaning and one for use), but our water might be to blame as well. The resistance at the bottom is in a "petal" shape and it is visible during boiling (see photo) as well as the salt. Finally, the manual says that the water should not be below the "min" line, but such a line does not exist, so the minimum is at one's discretion.

Η αντισταση στον πυθμενα ειναι σχημα "πεταλο" και φαινεται κατα το βρασμο και (δες φωτο) αλλα και τα άλατα. Τελος στο εγχειρίδιο λεει το νερο να μην ειναι κατω απο το "min" αλλα τετοια γραμμη δεν υπαρχει, οποτε το ελάχιστο ειναι κατα βούληση.
I bought it to make coffee outdoors. It is more compact than electric coffee pots and the lid comes off, so you have full access to the inside. The coffee needs to be stirred quite a bit to prevent it from boiling on one side, because, as others have mentioned, the heating element has a petal shape and boils faster near the handle. It worked very well for me because I can also fit the Greek coffee bag inside and it doesn't take up space in my suitcase!
