Description

Description

The Memory Center is the ideal storage solution for large amounts of data. Photos, movies, and music files have plenty of space on the 3.5" hard drive.

The glossy plastic casing looks classic and fits well on any desk. Want to quickly transfer large video and music files from your computer to an external hard drive? No problem with the Memory Center.

The hard drive can achieve 10 times higher transfer rates than hard drives with USB 2.0. Read rates of 85 MB per second and write rates of 75 MB per second ensure fast data transfer.

High Capacity - High Speed

Due to its large disk space, the Memory Center is suitable as a backup solution for all your important data. It can be permanently connected and regularly synchronized with your computer or Mac, so no data is lost anymore.

The hard drive is ready for use as soon as it is connected to your computer via a USB cable. The Memory Center is powered by an external power adapter. The hard drive can be turned on and off via a separate switch, so it only connects to the network if it is in use. Active data transfer is indicated by a blue LED light.

First time I bought a disk, quiet, something I have for backup, and suddenly one day it stops working for no reason. I tried connecting it 20 times in 1-2 years. Truly disappointing. And now that I come here, I see the same problem in half of the comments.
DO NOT buy it because it plays with probabilities against you.

I have it for 3 years with one use. Simple design, beautiful alcohol color when it lights up. Overall, I am very satisfied with the intenso, it doesn't matter to me to have a beautiful design, only good price and reliability with the 3GB

    Children, stay away....
I had bought the 3TB at a good price but I regret it now.
I am into photography and I back up on 5 hard drives. I bought it because of the capacity requirements as I have 3 500GB WD 3.5" and 2 small 2.5" ones (each 1TB).
This particular one hasn't completely failed, but it has this paradoxical behavior:
About a year ago, it started to slow down, specifically when reading certain folders, and during file copying it would suddenly drop to 0kb/s and freeze. So I formatted it and bought a diagnostic tool for disks, which showed it in good health, just with one sector in moderate condition. However, it passes all the tests successfully. After I connected 2TB to it, it started doing the same thing again. Practically useless, I have no trust in it, it's going to be retired!

    Don't even think about it!!!

I bought 2 hard drives, 3TB each. The first one crashed after 2 months. The other one failed just after 14 months without serious use, as I only had them for backup.

The result: countless data lost and countless hours of work wasted. Thankfully, the store where I bought them compensated me, but what good is it when you've lost so much data...

Stay away and buy something else!!!!!!!

If you have already bought it, then back up everything. When it starts acting up, for example, it requires scanning from Windows, doesn't recognize files and folders, etc., then its last days are near and try to save whatever you can.

The first one I got lasted 2 days. No computer could read it and they gave me the same one. So far, everything is fine except for the negatives I see. Generally, no matter what brand you get, it may break. I have gotten everything and everything has broken after a period of time (depending on usage). So, there is no "get this one, it's good, it doesn't break," etc...

It has not had any problems for a year now.
I save movies, delete and transfer others again - absolutely no issue.
It is worth its money and more, it requires power but that is not such a problem.

I bought it 3 years ago for 100 euros.
It is still alive without any issues.
It needs an external power source.
It makes a small noise, especially when loading, but it is silent when idle.
The star rating is only lost because the USB 3 cable behind the hard drive does not fit well and comes out easily. Be careful not to lose data or panic that it burned.
Good purchase! I would buy it again.
The star rating was given because it is very reliable for 70 euros.

I have a very short period of time to have a complete picture. The most significant drawback is its extremely short connecting cable. Unacceptable inconvenience. However, I preferred it because I have a product from the same company (external hard drive) which is incredible in quality.

Excellent external hard drive operates quickly when connected to a USB 3.0 port.
Personally, I have it filled with 2TB out of 2.7TB with movies, and whenever I want to watch one of them, I transfer it to my computer or to a USB in seconds. When I bought it a month ago, it was the cheapest in its category, the 3TB, at 85 euros. However, its plastic easily gets scratched and requires extra protection and caution to avoid dropping it. Nevertheless, I am fully satisfied and will buy it again because, as you can see, I have filled it up!
