Tasting characteristics: The distillation is done in traditional handmade copper stills, giving the ouzo its distinct character. The alcohol is flavored by the herbs and fruits of the recipe through the distillation process. Intensive controls at all stages of production ensure quality. The anise, collected from the villages of Evia, is ensured to be as fresh as possible to impart its finest characteristics. Fennel, a sacred herb of antiquity, works beneficially in combination with anise. The aromatic profile is complemented by notes of mastic, cardamom, and cardamom.
