The Chemical Guys Convertible Top Protectant and Repellent is the ultimate solution for protecting any fabric convertible top. The revolutionary protective agent creates a shield that repels liquids, dirt, stains, and UV sun rays. The protective agent micro-bonds with the fibers of the fabric for long-lasting protection. The innovative UV technology protects against fading and discoloration of your fabric convertible top. The advanced stain-resistant technology keeps the fabric soft top in like-new condition. The spray formula uses hydrophobic technology to repel water and other liquids, maintaining the original condition of any fabric convertible top.

How to use:

  • Always test the fabric/fiber for colorfastness in an inconspicuous area.
  • Use only on fabric soft tops.
  • Apply to the soiled area.
  • Cover any exposed rubber and plastic trim with protective tape to prevent overspray.
  • Shake well before application.
  • Apply 2 coats of the Convertible Top Protectant and Repellent.
  • Allow 20 minutes of drying time between each coat.
  • Wipe any excess overspray from the surface of paint and glass.

    It does exactly what it says. I used it once on a mini cabrio and it emptied half a bottle. After 3 weeks of raining on the car, the water did not soak the fabric and the drops remained on top. I bought it because it offers protection from the sun, UV rays... so logically the color of the fabric will last longer. Instead of spending 2 or 3 thousand to change the roof, it's better to use this protective once a year.
