Description

Description

The electric water heater from Wilco has a capacity of 80 liters and a power of 4 kW. It can be installed vertically on a wall. It features an internal heat exchanger (coil), with the ability to connect to the central heating system, saving electrical energy. The hot water it produces can come from an oil boiler, heating the water of the water heater.

The 80-liter capacity can meet the needs of a small family of 3, with almost instant heating of the water. The tank has an internal enamel coating for protection against rust, ensuring always clean water.

It connects to the water supply and has automatic replenishment with cold water each time hot water is drawn. It is recommended to be installed as close as possible to the point of use, maintaining safety distances if installed in the bathroom.

Maintenance is required every 1-2 years to prevent limescale buildup. The vertical installation facilitates maintenance, but caution is necessary during the installation of the base on the wall.

Unacceptable. They don't even have a safety valve included in the packaging, and the thermostat didn't work! And one star is too much!

This review is about the placement: Floor

After 12.5 years, I decided to do some maintenance just to make sure I wouldn't encounter any damage during the winter. I emptied it of water, brought it down from the attic, and opened it up to see the condition of the anode, the cathode, and the internal lining. The salts had destroyed - almost eliminated - the cathode, resulting in even more salts accumulating and damaging the internal lining of the water heater. If I had done this maintenance every five years, I would have only needed to replace the cathode, clean out the salts and sediment, and the water heater would have lasted for many more years. Unfortunately, I proceeded with a preventive replacement because, from what I saw, the internal lining was on the verge of leaking, and it's not easy to go through such procedures every day.

The worst thing ever!!! It doesn't heat the water even if you apply to the municipality!!!!! You have to wait for an hour for it to heat up, and just when you go to take your bath, you start thinking if you accidentally changed to daylight saving time and turned it off at the same time...
And if it burns the water, it never lasts enough for even a men's bath....
My opinion is to avoid it at all costs.. I've had it for two weeks and I regret it more than anything

Well, I used to work as a plumber and this particular brand was good during the period of 2005-2010! However, this specific product is a total fake! I installed it last year for a friend of mine and it messed up the thermostat a little bit, setting it slightly higher than the middle, around 3/4, at 65-70 degrees, which is normal because nothing is indicated on the thermostat, and the water took 35 minutes and still hasn't heated up satisfactorily! It's very slow and according to my friend, if you leave it on for half an hour with one person (a troublemaker, by the way), it barely has time to take a bath!!! It's really disappointing for Wilco because their 200aris double plate solar water heater is very powerful... Of course, I had some issues there too, they forgot to put Teflon on a "pipe joint" and it was leaking, but that's a minor issue because it performs well!!! Are you satisfied with its performance at the company?

Imagine replacing a 5-year-old one due to wear and salt accumulation... but unfortunately, even like that, I missed it very quickly. Annoyingly slow... It's not worth even considering getting it!!!!!

Literally a joke! The heating element burned out in just 13 months. No discussion about warranty since the 5-year warranty does NOT cover the heating element, not even for a day! As I was told, the heating element can burn out for various reasons... As soon as the technician removed it for replacement, unfortunately, its quality was also evident.
