The JOURNEY chair is made almost entirely of polypropylene, except for the metal frame of the seat that incorporates all the adjustment mechanisms and of course the shock absorber that can "lift" up to 130 kilograms of weight. Polypropylene is particularly resistant to weight and water, while it has great resistance to temperatures up to 125 degrees Celsius. Also, its durability is not limited to weight, water, and temperature, but it is unusually resistant to many chemical solvents, acids, and bases.

The upholstery of the chair is made entirely of high-quality PU leather. This is also known as synthetic leather or faux leather. It has a linen fabric texture. Synthetic leather is the evolution of leatherette but with the main characteristic that it is not easily distinguishable from real leather. Its composition is primarily polyurethane and micro-nylon fibers, as opposed to leatherette which primarily contains PVC.

The chair is easy to clean. The PU leather can be cleaned with a damp cloth and only in case of stubborn stains, you can use a mild cleaner. Generally, PU does not show cracks and is not affected by the sun.

The polypropylene base, of course, only needs polishing with a damp cloth. The polypropylene wheels should be cleaned regularly from any hair that gets tangled, for smoother and quieter rolling. Avoid using bleach cleaners.
