So, from the 6s, I decided to upgrade to the 11 pro. The 6s had served me well for 4 years, so I couldn't consider anything other than an iPhone. I chose the pro instead of the regular one because I finally wanted an AMOLED screen.
The positives of it are the screen, which has very good and realistic colors compared to other AMOLED screens. Its battery has impressed me. With the 6s, I had been carrying a power bank with me for the past few years. With moderate use (calls, messages, emails, Instagram, YouTube, Spotify mainly), it lasts me 2 days. So, even with heavy use, it easily lasts a whole day. It also charges quite fast. The A13 CPU works wonders. Everything loads in fractions of a second. iOS, as it is well-known, is so smooth that it is one of the reasons why I don't switch to Android. I have loved it for so many years. Its speaker is also very loud and clear at the same time. The build quality is also exceptional. You feel like you are actually holding a device worth 1200 euros. And especially this matte space gray color, I have fallen in love with it.
As for the negatives, I didn't like that Apple removed 3D Touch. It seems I was one of the few who used it frequently and found it very useful. This Haptic Touch is not the same, and you can't do everything you could do before. But at least Apple, by sacrificing 3D Touch, added larger batteries and didn't skimp on the little things. Also, the weight, especially with a case on, is quite noticeable. I imagine what it would be like with the Max. Maybe it's because I was used to the 6s, which was light as a feather due to the aluminum. I believe as time goes by, I will get used to it. Also, the notch, although necessary due to Face ID, gives a dated feeling when you see Android phones that have nothing or a very small hole punch. And now, the issue of price. The prices have indeed skyrocketed, with an increase of almost 400 euros compared to the iPhones of 2015-2016. But now, all the major companies charge 1000+ for their flagships. At least iPhones retain their value if you want to sell them in the future.
