VR Headset

A device that fully immerses you in a digital world by covering your field of vision and isolating you from your surroundings. Mainly used for gaming, virtual reality experiences, and applications with a high level of interaction, offering intense immersion.

The range of the visual field that the user can see inside the VR headset, measured in degrees (°). The larger the FOV, the more "natural" and immersive the experience, as peripheral vision is increased.

LCD

The most widespread choice in VR headsets, offering a clear and bright image. It does not have as deep blacks as OLED, but provides a good overall experience at an affordable price.

• Good for: everyday use, value for money
• Not for: intense contrast / absolute immersion

Indicates how many pixels are displayed separately for each eye inside the VR headset. The higher the resolution, the clearer and more detailed the image, with fewer "virtual" effects (screen-door effect).
