From me, it gets 5/5. I had it plugged in for over an hour to make sure it would heat up. It heats the food evenly. I haven't tried it with soups yet but I believe it will work just as well. It has a removable plastic container inside with a divider for easy cleaning.

Very good although it is not suitable for liquid foods as they spill if you are not careful during transport. I found a solution by transferring the soup to a safe simple container and when I wanted to heat it I poured it back into this one. I just wish it were safe in this regard as well.
