Description

Each THEMATIC CYCLE of the B' Lyceum is analyzed - beyond its conceptual framework - also at a TEXT-CENTRIC level, so that the student can "practice" the top "exercise" of selecting and processing arguments, as they emerge from the texts they will study. At the same time, the ARGUMENTATIVE ANALYSIS of the Thematic Units (TUs) is not given with the usual - and rather outdated - choice of presenting proven positions. On the contrary, each provable position is transformed into an argument (provable position - analysis - conclusion), so that students can follow the flow of reasoning, understanding its cohesive links and coherence. Finally, the reader of the book will arrive at three EVALUATION CRITERIA, in which Modern Greek Language and Literature are intertwined in the new forms of evaluation of the two cognitive subjects.

Specifically:
- Conceptual approach to TUs.
- Texts for extracting ideas and vocabulary (text-centric approach to TUs).
- Argumentative approach to TUs, in accordance with the logical structure: claim / provable position - arguments / evidence - conclusion.
- Evaluation criteria that meet the needs of students for their in-school exams as well as the latest instructions of the IEP for the format of the evaluation criterion in the National Examinations (Material Folder / Language and Literature Co-examination).
- Answers to all evaluation criteria.

Additionally, the following are utilized in the presentation and processing of TUs:
- Objectivity / Text networks
- Multimodality
- Creative writing
