The Radel Delonghi radiators have PHD technology integrated, based on which the flow of water is first distributed to the front surface of the body and then to the back surface. This asymmetric circulation of water in the radiator has advantages that fully satisfy the requirements of thermal comfort, energy saving, and environmental respect. Heat is only delivered where it is useful, while unnecessary dispersion is minimized.

All Delonghi Radel radiators are tested at a pressure of 13 bar to ensure proper operation at 10 bar pressure.

The Radel bodies are painted in 3 phases:

• 1) Degreasing with hot phosphating using a manganese-zinc material.
• 2) Pre-painting with electrostatic method in an oven at a temperature of 180°C.
• 3) Final painting with epoxy powder (Epoxy resin, polyester varnish RAL 9010) in an oven at a temperature of 160°C.

• Material: Special sheet metal with deep stamping, thickness 1.25mm
• Maximum operating temperature: 110°C
• Connections: 4 ½" female threads with internal threading for external loop bodies

In panel radiators, the switch enters with one side of the body and has an external tube that connects the top with the bottom part of the radiator.

The type of radiators is represented by the number 11 (single column), which means it has 1 hydraulic column and 1 welded manifold to increase the heated surface.

The total thickness of the body is 6.3 cm.

It is very important to make the right choice of the radiator body according to the dimensions of your space. The dimensioning of the radiators should be done by an engineer after studying the space and calculating the losses. The wrong choice of the radiator can lead to insufficient heating or excessive heating of the space, resulting in energy waste.

A practical and simple way to calculate the required calories yourself is to multiply the height, width, and length of your room, in meters. Then, multiply the result by the number 50, which represents an approximate estimate of possible losses.

However, this calculation method is indicative and does not replace the study that an engineer will conduct, which will be completely accurate.
