The Single Malt whisky from the Glenmorangie label, originating from Scotland, is produced by a single distillery and uses exclusively malted barley, yeast, and water as raw materials. This single malt spent 18 years maturing in oak barrels before being bottled.
The Glenmorangie distillery was founded in 1843 in the Highlands of Scotland, with production starting in 1849. Since the early 19th century, it has been part of the Louis Vuitton Moet Hennessey group. It is considered a pioneer in the technique of "double" maturation of whisky in sherry, port, and wine barrels. The aromas from the resinous quality of the nuts and the taste of lemons and vanilla are followed by a finish that leaves a unique sense of freshness and completeness.
