The Lindy HDMI Audio Extractor is an effective solution for extracting audio from an HDMI source to digital and analog audio devices, while simultaneously sending the video signal to a 4K display or projector. It supports an excellent resolution quality of 4096 x 2160 @ 30 Hz, with additional pass-through support for CEC, allowing control of sources from the TV remote, as well as HDCP 1.4, ideal for use with devices such as set-top boxes, game consoles, and Blu-Ray players.
The audio extractor allows output in digital formats via Optical and HDMI and analog via L/R connections, ensuring smooth compatibility with amplifiers, sound bars, or 2-channel speaker setups. It supports multi-channel audio, including DTS: HD and Dolby Digital 5.1, ensuring an enjoyable three-dimensional surround sound for movies, games, and music when connected to an audio device.
The 3.5 mm analog connection ensures that 2-channel speaker setups can also be connected, ideal for use with computer monitors that may require separate speakers. It features a clear switch for full control of the EDID audio source used and the ability to power via USB from the source device or display, providing simple use and installation, suitable for both home and commercial AV installations.
With its minimalist and elegant design, it can also be hidden from view, to keep up with the popular trend of discreet AV installations.
