    It fits 6 toasts easily and the area it occupies on the counter is relatively small.
    The plates do not have the classic shape and the grooves are a bit shallower and wider so the toasts do not have the classic appearance.
    It heats up quite quickly and melts the cheese without burning the bread.
    The mechanism that gives inclination to the top plate could be a bit better.
    I would prefer the handle to be metallic.
    The collection tray is at the back - I would prefer it at the front or at least on the side.
