Do not attempt to make waffles because it takes a long time; during cooking, 9 out of 10 times the material spills outside the device, and it fills with steam to the point that you have to wipe it with a towel. Within 6 months of purchase, the button to open the grill melted internally due to the temperature generated by the device itself (insufficient insulation). The best part is that in response to my request for a replacement, the answer is "The manufacturer's warranty does not cover damages resulting from misuse and any problems caused by the customer." Other than that, it toasts exceptionally well.
