This collection of topics, entirely different from usual collections, was first released in 1966 under the title "170 Ancient Greek Texts".
The great demand for the book and the very favorable feedback from our esteemed philology teachers led us to increase the number of texts. Consequently, from 1971, the book was titled "270 Ancient Greek Texts".
However, since the subject of Thematography in high school had gained particular importance as an elective subject with the educational measures in place after 1971, and because the introduction of the modern Greek language in all levels of education had become mandatory, it was necessary to increase the number of texts and to linguistically revamp the book. As a result, from 1979, the book was titled "300 Ancient Greek Texts'.
