Having worked with the American one for 15 years with the outrageously high cost of consumables at around 600 euros every 8 to 10 months, here we have a cost of 4 blades at 200 euros per year.
We have a functionality that is 30% inferior and a weight that is about 200 grams heavier, which may not seem like a big deal at first, but after a few months, your hand starts to seriously hurt... On the other hand, it truly seems waterproof and the thickness adjustment for the meat, although it doesn't have numbers (serious flaw) due to its metallic construction, is much more reliable than the plastic one of the American one that goes wherever it wants over time.
Blades only with teeth... day and night.
