I recently changed tires and put on the Westlake Super Eco Z107. Quite soft and nice to drive, but I discovered that they had a height difference! That is, the 195/65/15 is not 65 but something like 64. The problem is that when I went up my ramp to park, the bumper would hit. So I put on Michelin tires, which have a 7mm height difference in the same size, and I have no problem. The height should be stated by the manufacturers!
Πρόσφατα άλλαξα λάστιχα και έβαλα τα westlake super eco z107. Αρκετά μαλακά και ωραία στην οδήγηση αλλά ανακάλυψα πως είχαν διαφορά στο ύψος ! Δηλαδή το 195/65/15 δεν είναι 65 άλλα κάτι σαν 64. Το πρόβλημα είναι ότι όταν ανέβαινα την ράμπα μου για να παρκάρω έβρισκε ο προφυλακτήρας. Οπότε έβαλα τα Michelin που στην ίδια διάσταση έχουν 7mm διάφορα σε ύψος και δεν έχω πρόβλημα. Το ύψος θα έπρεπε να αναγράφεται από τους κατασκευαστές !

Update, After 2 years and 20,000 kilometers of using the tires. I found nothing negative. The Energy Saver tires from the same company are no longer available, which I wouldn't have changed for anything, and I switched to this new model. Great response in grip and braking. Now I will switch the front and rear. I will return at 25-30,000 kilometers, which is a criterion that "bad" tires do not pass. Keep in mind my car is AWD, so the differential wear between front and rear tires is a bit less than that of classic front-wheel-drive cars

I am a fan of Michelin. Their biggest advantage is that they maintain elasticity compared to other brands that dehydrate quickly. They are always more expensive, but not significantly different. The older Primacy tires were very hard on the sides, thick, and caused the suspension to stiffen. They have improved the Primacy 4 and this problem no longer exists. When it comes to medium-sized cars, I use them for my Golf 7 1.600 diesel and I am satisfied. I recommend them and would choose them again

The Bridgestone Ecopia EP150 that was fitted from the factory (VW Golf 7) absorbed the road imperfections much better at the manufacturer's recommended pressure of 2.2 bar. As soon as the Michelin Primacy 4 tires were fitted, the car became quieter on rough roads, but its civilized character and comfort in navigating over potholes have been destroyed.
The initial impact of the pothole, which was absorbed by the Bridgestone tires and only a small percentage reached the suspension, is now fully absorbed by the suspension, so I fear that soon the suspension and the shock absorbers will fail.
Stay away unless you intend to use them exclusively for track/racing driving.

Τα Bridgestone Ecopia EP150 που φορούσε από το εργοστάσιο (VW Golf 7) απορροφούσαν τις κακοτεχνίες στο δρόμο πολύ καλύτερα στα 2.2 bar πίεσης που ορίζει ο κατασκευαστής. Μόλις φόρεσε τα Michelin Primacy 4 το αυτοκίνητο έχει γίνει πιο αθόρυβο σε τραχύ οδόστρωμα, αλλά έχει καταστραφεί ο πολιτισμένος χαρακτήρας του και η άνεση με την οποία κινούνταν πάνω από τις λακούβες.
Αυτό το αρχικό κοπάνημα της λακούβας που απορροφούνταν από τα Bridgestone και έφτανε μόνο ένα μικρό ποσοστό του στην ανάρτηση, τώρα το τρώει όλο η ανάρτηση, οπότε φοβάμαι ότι σε λίγο καιρό θα μου μείνει η ανάρτηση και τα σινεμπλόκ στο χέρι.
Μείνετε μακριά εκτός και αν τα προορίζετε αποκλειστικά για χρήση σε πίστα/ανάβαση/αγωνιστική οδήγηση.
