For the first time, a USB stick really got on my nerves! I plugged it into a USB-A port on the PC and when I pulled it out it fell apart! The silver stem stayed in the port and the rest was in my hand! Now it has broken in two and after some effort only the Type-A part remained, which still works! Also in my VW car (2024) it only works if you unplug it and plug it back into the Type-C port, whereas before it worked right away! Brand name, etc. my foot, stay away..
