Description & Specifications

Samura began its journey in 2003, launching its first product line in collaboration with Japanese companies MAC and Mcusta. Japanese philosophies and traditions run deep in the DNA of Samura knives. Japanese knives remain sharper, allowing them to cut better than European ones. However, Japanese knives have their weaknesses. Many Japanese knives are made from high-carbon steel, which tends to rust quickly. Samura decided to eliminate these disadvantages, retaining only the main function – the cutting performance of Japanese knives.

After four years of experimentation, it created Samura – a condensation of Japanese knife tradition and European reliability. Samura knives are made from the finest Japanese and Swedish steels, hardened to 58-61 HRC, offering fantastic cutting performance. Samura knives are sharpened at a 17-degree angle, more than Japanese but less than European. Samura also uses the most refined modern materials for the handles.

With precision as its guiding principle, Samura currently produces 18 series of knives, as well as a wide range of kitchen accessories.
