    It works perfectly with rechargeable batteries, otherwise it gets stuck and rings continuously, even though I installed them the other way around, i.e. the transmitter inside and the receiver outside (in a sheltered area). One minus is that it does not have an alarm function like the ST96 150090, but only ding dong and melodies that sound when motion is detected, whereas the alarm would ring continuously until you deactivate it yourself. But it's a doorbell, you see. It has an on/off button on the transmitter.
