I didn't used to read novels much, I started in the army for obvious reasons. I borrowed it from a friend in the army and the book captivated me. It creates a nice atmosphere of that time, it's not particularly optimistic, it's not at all boring, and it doesn't drag at any point. Overall, it kept my interest throughout. If it conveys any message, the one that came across to me was that sometimes compromise is the best solution.

Φτιάχνει μια ωραία ατμόσφαιρα της τότε εποχής, δεν είναι ίδιαιτερα αισιόδοξο, δεν είναι καθόλου κουραστικό και δεν κάνει κοιλιά σε κανένα σημείο. Γενικά μου κράτησε το ενδιαφέρον καθ' όλη τη διάρκεια. Αν περνάει κάποιο μήνυμα, αυτό που πέρασε σε εμένα ήταν ότι μερικές φορές, ο συμβιβασμός είναι η καλύτερη λύση.
