Technology

• The Limetree PHONO II is based on a circuit design from the classic tube era, with a completely new interpretation using the latest technologies and components.
• The two-stage circuit layout with passive RIAA equalization network uses the best J-FET amplifiers and ultra-precise resistors and capacitors from Japan.
• The purely passive equalization has a significant advantage: distortions in the bass range are much lower.
• For power supply, we use a "medical-grade" external power transformer, ensuring particularly good isolation from line disturbances.
• Together with advanced onboard filtering and special voltage regulators, we have managed to implement an extremely low-noise power supply, with contaminating voltage below 10 µV.
