Description & Specifications

The No.08 Outdoor is the new generation of Opinel pocket knives, perfect for all sports at sea and in the mountains, such as climbing, alpinism, paragliding, hiking, caving, sailing, canoeing, and other water activities.

It features an 8.5 cm blade made of Sandvick 12C27 stainless steel with a thickness of 2.5 mm for increased durability. Additionally, this blade includes:

  • Serated section for effective and quick cutting of ropes.
  • Hole for opening marine keys with a diameter of 4 to 10 millimeters.

The ergonomic handle is made of 2 materials: reinforced polyamide with fiberglass and elastic polyamide, providing durability in extreme temperatures from -40 °C to + 80 °C and in high humidity conditions.

The handle includes a built-in emergency whistle with a sound level of 110 dB, which can be heard from over 300 meters away, as well as a synthetic cord.
