Description

Dual Energy

The Nobel electric water heater is dual energy, which means that it features a heat exchanger to ensure optimal performance in providing hot water year-round, without consuming electricity but by utilizing the central heating system.

Capacity

Based on the capacity in liters, it can meet all the needs of a small family of 3 people and the water heats up almost within an hour.

Tank

The water storage tank features an internal enamel coating, which results from the application of enamel (glass) onto metal. This protects it from rust, as the water does not come into contact with the walls, thus ensuring always clean water.

Installation

The water heater can be installed on the floor (e.g., storage room or attic). Installation in an attic or on the floor usually makes maintenance more difficult.

Features:

  • Titanium enamel coating
  • Electrostatically painted steel cover at 200°C
  • CFC-free polyurethane insulation, environmentally friendly
  • Anodic protection with magnesium (Mg) anode
  • 4 KW electric resistance with eight screws
  • Thermostat with double safety circuit
  • Operation indicator light

Water Heater VS Electric Boiler

The water heater operates with electric energy, where the resistance inside the water heater is heated and thus the water is warmed.

On the other hand, the electric boiler, in addition to heating the water through electric energy, has an internal exchanger (coil) with the ability to connect to the central heating system, to assist in the production of hot water. This reduces the use of electric energy.

This means that once connected, the hot water produced by, for example, the oil boiler, heats not only the radiators but also the water in the water heater, thereby promoting cost savings during the winter months.

  • Stay away, I have had it for 5 months in a closed basement space and it takes over an hour to heat the water, also when the water is hot it suddenly turns cold and it's finished, I will change the resistor and if not, it will be removed and thrown away.

attention, you see one thing and they send you another, mine came with a broken plastic lid which they said they would replace and it's been 1.5 years and they still haven't sent it, also it consumes a lot of electricity, for 60 degrees it needs 3 and a half hours in the winter even though it's indoors.

To have sufficient hot water, it needs to be on for 1 hour. It doesn't warn you when the hot water runs out; suddenly, in half a minute, it goes from hot to cold. As a boiler, it also didn't perform properly like a previous Elco I had for 20 years. There is no temperature indicator as shown in the picture. Also, several times the thermal switch would trip, resulting in the water heater not working, and I had to go up to the attic to reset the thermal switch. The installer told me he had seen the same problem with the thermal switch in other units as well.

Bought a month ago. Nighttime use. I turned it on at 5:30 in the morning. At 8:30 it was still on, heating the water to about 65 degrees (approximately, it doesn't have gradation). Consumption is 3 hours x 4 kilowatts = 12 kilowatts. The previous one (ELCO Glass) needed 45 minutes to 1 hour. Electric waste. Calculation of additional consumption over a 4-month period, using it every 3 days, is 40 x 8 = 320 kilowatts. I will monitor it and if it continues like this, I will change it back to the old one.
Update. After monitoring, it takes about 1 hour to raise the temperature to 55 degrees.
