    It is indeed very good and it is true that it has a very good and wide signal angle (especially useful for more hidden devices). The best part is NOT that you can program any button you want from the original remote, but the macros that you can also assign to any key. On a Smart TV, I programmed -by pressing a specific button- to go into the settings, move down to the third setting, and select "OK". Where I used to need 4 clicks to turn off the TV screen (useful when you are only listening to music), now this is done with ONE press. Negatives? It could be smaller in size (try changing the volume and then pressing the "3" button, for example)
