Long story short: for the money, it's fine.

It is a mediocre quality construction - mainly regarding the surface, which is made of second-grade MDF with adhesive in color, design, and wood imitation texture. I note here that the surface has grooves for imitation and I'm afraid that in case of liquid or food, cleaning will be difficult.

The surface - for me at least - is sufficient for all my things.

The metal frame has a mediocre quality paint that "broke" and peeled off in 2-3 screw points with slight pressure from the screw. It's a small flaw, of course, and it's not noticeable to anyone who doesn't know.

Very easy assembly with the provided tool and I can say that after placing it in its position, it neither wobbles nor does any strange noise indicate poor "fastening". It's fine.

If you use an electric screwdriver with heads, avoid using it when the time comes to screw the horizontal surface to the frame, and this is because personally I don't trust its tolerance to pressure, even though mine has torque adjustment and a sensor that stops. Here, it's better to do it by hand.

As long as you use it as a desk and not a workbench, to work on the computer and not to eat, and being careful not to hit it - especially the corners of the surface - I believe it will last you for a long time. It goes without saying that if you're a gamer who gets angry and vents on the table, this is not for you.

Unfortunately, this is a poorly constructed desk with flaws that require extra money, time, and effort in order to assemble it CORRECTLY and achieve its final form, the one you see in the product image.

Positives:
- One of the few at this price (49 euros).
- One of the few light-colored options to avoid darkening the space.
- Minimalistic and lightweight.
- Proper height without obstacles for legs under the desk surface.
- Ideal for not trapping the computer's warm air.
- Includes the only tool (Allen key) you will need to assemble it. Maybe...

Negatives:
- The surface has deep grooves that will definitely accumulate dirt, sweat, etc. over time, as you cannot clean it properly with a sponge. Also, because of these grooves, thin Razer mousepads do not stick well at all.
- This surface that looks like solid wood is actually a wood-patterned sticker stuck on melamine, which is the worst synthetic "wood" available. Additionally, in many places, it is not well adhered. Because of this, I cannot attach anything to the desk without the risk of causing damage. For example, on my main desk, I have the following items attached with hot glue: the wired remote control for the speakers, a USB hub, and a cable holder with the power supply for the monitor. I cannot do these things with this particular desk because of the sticker. Furthermore, in less than a year, the sticker has started to peel off in some areas.

- When I was screwing one of the four screws into the wood, it sounded like the wood was cracking. So, I did not tighten that screw for fear of breaking it. From the moment a screw goes into wood, it should have been designed to withstand tightening or a sturdier "wood" should have been used. And I am not talking about excessive tightening, not at all, just a loose screw with the Allen key provided in the package.
- It is not the most sturdy, robust, or durable construction. On my other desk, which I have had for 15 years, I can climb on it as if it were a rock. This desk is not even close to that level. Yes, I know that desks are not intended for such use, but I just want to emphasize that this particular desk has weak points even for normal conditions, while for this price, you can find sturdy desks. It has very few assembly points, which makes it weak and susceptible to being pushed, dragged, or bumped to the right or left, especially when the legs stick to the joint from the tiles or have resistance on the carpet. If a screw is tightened a little too much, there is a risk of breaking the thread. Pushing it can cause the legs to become crooked or the threads to break from the holes. It is a desk that you assemble once, maybe twice, place it in its position, and do not move it or sit on it, treat it with care.
- The main reason why this desk was a big disappointment for me is because it came with a defect due to poor design, and I will try to describe it as best as I can, with the help of photos. The photos are high-resolution with a large zoom. Right-click and View Image. It has two iron bars on the back which are meant to be diagonally screwed in order to provide stability and durability to the legs, minimizing the risks I described above. These two diagonal iron bars are visible in the product photo. These two bars are tubes that are forged, flat, and perforated at their ends so that they can rest on the frame, allowing the screw to be inserted and tightened. One of the problems is that they should have been forged more at their ends because the tubular piece rests on the frame, resulting in the hole being half an inch away from the point where it should be screwed and the screw being in the air. To solve this problem, I had to get a hammer and forge the ends to enlarge the flat piece so that it can touch and be screwed in at the two points of the frame. When I did this, the paint came off, so another problem arose that needed to be solved. Extra cost for buying paint and wasted time because the paint takes longer to dry in winter. After this problem was solved, I discovered another one. The two holes in each iron bar were closer together than the corresponding ones in the rest of the frame, causing the screws to not reach the corresponding holes in the frame. Extra cost (9 euros) and wasted time for buying good drills to open new holes in the right places, create new threads, and be able to screw in the two iron bars.

Final conclusion, cheap costs more in the end.

The materials used to make the desk make it look very sturdy, as it is. The assembly instructions are simple and straightforward, and there is also an "allen" key for the assembly and to screw the screws in correctly and well. Special attention is needed with the holes from the metal parts in case you put something in the wrong way (like I did during the assembly). Care is also needed with the application of the wood with the screws because 1 out of the 4 personally gave me trouble and required a bit more pushing of the wood to one side. The assembly was done with 2 people, so I don't know if one person can assemble the desk alone. 07/12/2022 The desk remains a very good purchase even after so many years of use. It withstands the "punches" for demanding gamers, it holds the weight (computer and 2 monitors on the desk for all these years) and has more than paid for itself. I recommend it. 05/11/2024: The desk is still in the same condition it was purchased in with daily use. It is still worth it for its price.
