Το καλώδιο είναι μακρύ και στην άκρη έχει αισθητήρα. Έτσι έχεις τη δυνατότητα να βάλεις τον αισθητήρα μόνο μέσα στο ψυγείο και το θερμόμετρο εκτός ψυγείου (πάνω στο ψυγείο, για παράδειγμα)
