Plasti Dip is a liquid rubber in spray and liquid form. It seals, insulates, colors, and protects your car and motorcycle. It is non-slip and surface-enhancing, insulating wires and pipes. It protects against corrosion and offers dielectric coating. You can paint your rims or the entire car, as long as you first clean the surface.

Application tips: When the temperature is low, it may not spray evenly. It is better to place the spray in warm water for 5-10 minutes or warm it near a radiator. Before painting, do not apply any grease or wax as this could affect the application. Do not paint if a factory paint has been applied in the last year.

To achieve a straight line, remove the tape on the sixth “coat” while the Plasti Dip is still wet. Plasti Dip has the property of re-liquefying when it falls on an already painted surface. Keep the spray in a vertical position and maintain a distance of 10-15 cm. Spray in a windless area to avoid surface irregularities.

Clean the surface well before painting and be careful of moisture. In periods of low temperatures, drying time for each “coat” requires more time. You can certainly wash your car or motorcycle ten days afterwards, but you should be cautious at first. It is recommended to apply Dip Protect every one and a half months.

The ratio of Plasti Dip to thinner for spray application with a gun is 1:1. The spray gun should have a nozzle of 1.5-2mm, pressure of 1.5-2bar, and the ability to adjust the amount. At least 6 “coats” must be applied for a good result, especially on large surfaces.

Do not wash with active foam, only with plain soap. Caution with gasoline, as contact with Plasti Dip can cause it to fade.

High Gloss Top Coat: Apply 3 good “coats” for the ideal result.
