Plasti dip is a liquid rubber in spray and liquid form. Its applications are endless: it seals, insulates, colors, and protects cars and motorcycles. It is non-slip and surface enhancing, insulative for wires and pipes. It protects against corrosion, provides a dielectric coating, and has many more applications.
The application is simple: before painting, clean the surface. It is important not to have previously used polish or wax, as this may affect the application. Avoid painting over factory paint if at least one year has not passed.
Hold the spray or gun in a vertical position to the surface at a distance of 10-15 cm. Spray in a wind-free area to avoid premature drying and inconsistencies on the surface.
Apply at least 6 good "coats" for large surfaces, and during the initial period, pay attention to the cleanliness of the surface.
- It is recommended to apply the special Dip Protect wax every month and a half.
- The ratio of plasti dip with thinner for the gun is 1:1.
- Use only plain soapy water for cleaning.
- Avoid contact with gasoline, as it may fade the Plasti dip.
- For the High Gloss Top Coat, apply 3 good "coats" with a 30-minute interval between them.
