- High levels of essential fatty acids and highly digestible carbohydrates

- The synergistic antioxidant complex reduces oxidative stress and combats free radicals

- Low sodium intake reduces portal hypertension and extravascular fluid loss

- The high energy levels provided by fat prevent excessive protein catabolism, limiting the risk of causing or progressing hepatic encephalopathy
