The BOYA BY-BM3032 Directional On-Camera Microphone is a supercardioid on-camera shotgun microphone that offers directional sound, adjustable gain, and wide compatibility with video production devices, vlogging, and recordings. Additionally, it features a safety channel selection option that allows you to choose the desired sound intensity when you are unsure if your sound is being heard correctly or in case of unexpected issues.

The selectable 5dB boost button for high frequencies can be used in outdoor recordings where you use the furry windscreen.

Thanks to the 3.5mm TRS jack cable, the microphone can be used with camcorders, DSLRs, and portable recorders. It offers approximately 30 hours of autonomy with two AA batteries.

    Quite a good microphone, competitor of the Rode Pro+, offers the same functions with the only difference that this one operates with regular batteries while the Rode operates with its own rechargeable type. Of course, in case after a certain number of charges I don't know if the Rode offers the possibility of battery replacement, so the placement of regular AA batteries in the BM3032 only has advantages. In terms of sound quality, it is awesome. Very good at low frequencies with a "bassy" and full sound. Excellent for both vlogs and professional use. One positive aspect is that you can operate it in automatic mode where it turns on and off by itself every time you open or close the camera respectively. As for the build quality, I think it is average. Overall, it is very good for its price.
