5ghz in nzxt x62 inside nzxt h500i case, with very low temperatures even after a whole day of gaming, it doesn't stutter, stable intel value even with 14+++++ architecture. Of course, you can't compare it to the Ryzen 5600x, but one is 240 and the other is 350 (for now), so in terms of performance value, we can't say anything yet until the 5600x drops to 299 as it should be.
For me, this CPU can handle and will handle many games for a long time without any issues and will push graphics cards to the max. For 240, it's not even up for discussion, it's very good, and in combination with z490, you also have the ability to upgrade to 11th gen Intel (if it's worth it in the end), which means you'll have PCIe gen 4 since z490 is PCIe gen 4 ready as hardware, but the 10th gen CPU doesn't support the function yet, but the 11th gen will support it normally. For those who say 18 cores are better for multitasking, it's nonsense. If you're a casual gamer who wants to run 10-20 Chrome tabs in the background, Spotify, Discord, Skype, 3 different RGB controllers (Aorus, Asus, Ayra, Corsair, etc.) because that's how you can be covered 100% without noticing anything.

I should note that I was a Ryzen 2600 owner and I switched platforms due to a burnt motherboard, and I decided to try Intel even though I always had AMD. After the switch, I saw a significant difference in performance with the same RTX 2070 Super card at 2560*1440 resolution.
5ghz σε nzxt x62 Μεσα σε nzxt h500i κουτι, με θερμοκρασιες πολυ χαμηλες ακομα και μετα απο μερα ολοκληρη gaming, δεν μασαει τιποτα, σταθερη αξια intel και ας ειναι 14+++++ αρχιτεκτονικη. με ryzen 5600x δεν μπορεις να τον συγκρινεις βεβαια αλλα 240 ο ενας 350 ο αλλος (για την ωρα) οποτε απο θεμα αποδοσης τιμης δεν μπορουμε να πουμε κατι ακομη μεχρι ο 5600χ να πεσει στα 299 που θα επρεπε να ειναι.
Για εμενα αυτος ο cpu αντεχει και θα αντεχει πολλα games για αρκετο καιρο χωρις κανενα προβλημα και θα pusharei τις καρτες γραφικων στο max. Για 240 δεν το συζηταμε ειναι πολυ καλος και σε συνδυασμο με z490 εχεις και τη δυνατοτητα να αναβαθμισεις σε 11γενια intel (αν τελικα αξιζει) κατι που σημαινει οτι θα εχεις και pcie gen 4 καθως οι z490 ειναι pcie gen4 ready σαν hardware ομως ο cpu 10γεν δεν υποστηριζει ακομη τη λειτουργια αλλα οι 11 γεν θα την υποστηριζουν κανονικα. Για οσους λενε καλυτερα 18 cores για multy tasking χαζομαρες, αν εισαι casual gamer που θελει να τρεχει και 10-20 σελιδες crοme απο πισω spotify discord skype, 3 διαφορετικα rgβ controlers (aorus asus ayra corsair κτλπ) γιατι ετσι μπορεις θα σε καλύψει 100% χωρις να καταλαβεις τιποτα.
Αυτα απο εμενα 10/10 ευχαριστημενος και χαρουμενος με την αγορα μου.
Να σημειωσω οτι ημουν κατοχος ryzen 2600 και αλλαξα πλατφορμα λογω καμενης μητρικης και ειπα να δοκιμασω intel ενω παντα ειχα amd. Μετα την αλλαγη ειδα μεγαλη διαφορα σε αποδοση με την ιδια καρτα rtx 2070 super σε 2560*1440 αναλυση.
