It is a good and sturdy measuring cup. I wouldn't call it light though, it has its weight. In boiling water, it can handle it without any issues. Even with the switch between boiling and cold water that I needed a couple of times, it held up just fine. The lid seemed a bit dysfunctional in its operation during twisting, but someone who needs what the lid offers will find it helpful. I take away one star mainly because the handle seemed a bit short to me. I would have liked it to be a bit larger. For my hand, the grip is a bit small. In any case, it is generally a good, heat-resistant measuring cup.
