I bought them too because of the good reviews and I regretted it. The first year everything was fine. Good grip on the road, in turns, and braking. After that, it started slipping in turns, and in tight corners, at normal speed you think the tire will come off the rim! It also slips quite a bit when braking. It has developed cracks, as if I've had it for 4-5 years. I'm going to replace them after about 2.5 years. I had the Turanza before, everything was fine. Now I will try the Continental Premium Contact 7, which I read good reviews about. We’ll see!
Τα εβαλα και γω λόγω των καλων αξιολογησεων και το μετανιωσα.
Τον 1ο χρονο ολα καλα. Κρατηματα στον δρομο,σε στροφες και φρεναρισμα.
Απο κει και περα, αρχισε να γλυστραει σε στροφες ,και σε κλειστες στροφες,με νορμαλ ταχυτητα νομιζεις οτι θα βγει το λαστιχο απο την ζαντα ! Επισης γλυστραει στο φρεναρισμα αρκετα.
Εχει κανει ρωγμες,λες και το εχω 4-5 χρονια.
Παω για αλλαγη μετα απο 2.5 χρονια περιπου.
Ειχα τα turanza πριν,ολα καλα. Τωρα θα δοκιμασω και τα continental premium contact 7, για τα οποια διαβαζω καλα σχολια. Θα δειξει !

I have seen in practice everything they promise. Soft tire that absorbs many of the road shocks. I come from Bridgestone and I see a difference in favor of Dunlop in this. At low to medium speeds, I would dare to say 10/10 in this area.
After the first 500 km, I started pushing it ...turns.
What I have to get used to is the "bubble" feeling compared to before. That is, they filter the road very well (positive for me, but I need to get used to it).
A characteristic that was greatly enhanced when after 600 km I changed the atmosphere with nitrogen. Due to the low profile, the change is dramatic.
And let's get to the essence.
Both in dry and wet conditions, the tires have excellent performance. Excellent directional stability, even in slalom test conditions.
Positive that they reach operating temperature quickly.
At speeds up to 70 km, it is difficult to detect differences between the tires on the market, so we appreciate the positive extra filtering.
From 70 to 120 is the range where you feel the air cushion between the tire and the road (it has no impact on performance. I'm talking about sensation).
At speeds from 130-200 km, they "stick" down, assisted by the aerodynamics of the car. In open-fast curves, they are in their element, regardless of the quality of the pavement.
In summary, an excellent purchase. It's a bit unfamiliar to what I mentioned before and I have to get used to it. Don't expect anything bad. Just different from my previous experience.
I consider it an excellent purchase, which I do not regret (based on the data so far).
I highly recommend them for "calm power" driving, but not for drivers who enjoy twisty roads and fast helical routes, where the characteristic of isolation-filtering of the road is not useful.
We still have to see how they evolve over time, in terms of performance and wear.

Εχω δει στην πραξη ολα οσα υποσχονται. Μαλακο λαστιχο που απορροφά πολλους απο τους κραδασμους του δρομου. Ερχομαι απο Bridgestone και βλέπω μια διαφορά υπερ του Dunlop σ αυτο. Σε χαμηλες -μεσες ταχυτητες θα τολμουσα να μιλησω για 10/10 σ αυτον τον τομέα.
Μετά τα 500 πρωτα χλμ , ξεκινησα να του ανεβαζω ...στροφες.
Αυτο που πρεπει να συνηθισω ειναι η αισθηση " φουσκας" που εχω σε σχεση με πριν. Δηλαδη φιλτραρουν το οδοστρωμα πολυ ( για μενα θετικό, αλλά χρειάζομαι εξοικείωση ).
Χαρακτηριστικο που ενισχηθηκε κατα πολυ οταν μετα τα 600 χλμ αλλάξα την ατμοσφαιρα με αζωτο. Λογω ( μαλλον) χαμηλου προφιλ, η αλλαγη ειναι θεαματικη.
Και πάμε στα της ουσιας.
Και σε στεγνο και σε βρεγμενο τα λαστιχα εχουν αριστη αποδοση. Αριστη κατευθντικοτητα, ακομη και σε συνθηκες ...slalom test.
Θετικο το οτι φτανουν σε θερμοκρασια λειτουργίας τάχιστα.
Σε ταχυτητες μεχρι 70 χλμ δυσκολα εντοπιζεις διαφορες αναμεσα στα ελλαστικα της αγορας, οπότε κραταμε το θετικο του εξτρα φιλτραρισματος.
Απο 70 εως 120 ειναι το φασμα που νιωθεις το στρωμα αερα που μεσολαβει αναμεσα σε ελαστικο και οδοστρωμα ( δεν εχει καμια επιπτωση στην αποδοση. Μιλάω για αισθηση).
Σε ταχυτητες απο 130-200 χλμ " βιδωνουν" κατω, επικουρουμενα απο την αεροδυναμικη του αυτοκινητου. Στις ανοικτες -γρηγορες καμπες βρισκονται στο στοιχειο τους αδιαφορωντας για την ποιοτητα του ταπητα.
Συνοψίζοντας άριστη αγορα. Ξενιζει λιγο αυτο που προανεφερακαι πρεπει να συνηθισω. Μη φανταστει κανεις κατι κακο. Απλά διαφορετικο σε σχεση με τα προηγουμενα μου.
Τη θεωρω αριστη αγορα, την οποια και ( με τα μεχρι τωρα δεδομενα ) δε μετανιωνω.
Τα συνιστω ανεπιφύλακτα για οδηγηση " ηρεμης δυναμης", αλλα οχι σε οδηγους που αρεσκονται σε φιδισιους δρομους και γρηγορες ελικοειδης διαδρομες, οπου το χαρακτηριστικο απομόνωσης-φιλτραρισματος του δρομου, δεν ειναι χρησιμο.
Μενει να δουμε και το πως εξελισσονται στην πορεια του χρονου, οσον αφορα την αποδοση, αλλά και τη φθορά τους.

The Sport Maxx RT 2 were installed in September 2017 on an Astra H 1.6T, replacing the very good Sport Maxx RT and have done about 10,000 km.
I would say they are just as good if not better than the RT. They definitely heat up and perform faster. On dry roads, they are truly impeccable, with very good grip and amazing braking. What surprised me was their performance on wet roads, where they offer great safety for a summer tire. They have relatively low levels of noise.
On the other hand, being a soft tire, in turns at high speeds, it makes the car lean quite a bit, which is something you have to get used to because it has high levels of grip as mentioned before.
So far, there is no noticeable spinning or wear on the tread.
I would recommend it if someone is interested in a sport tire with low levels of noise.
Review 2021: After almost four years, my opinion is that if you don't want it for turns, it is a very good tire. It performs well from the start, doesn't slip at the beginning, is excellent in aquaplaning and generally in the rain, and has exceptional braking. If it stayed parked for a long time due to lockdown, there are no issues.
However, as I mentioned for turns and abrupt weight shifts, it is simply tragic. You feel like you're driving on balloons. In terms of comfort, you feel every pothole you encounter.
Τα Sport Maxx RT 2 τοποθετήθηκαν τον Σεπτέμβριο του 2017 σε Astra H 1.6T, αντικαθιστώντας τα πολύ καλά Sport Maxx RT και έχουν κάνει γύρω στα 10.000χλμ.
Θα έλεγα πως είναι το ίδιο καλά αν όχι και καλύτερα απο τα RT. Σίγουρα ζεσταίνονται και αποδίδουν πιο γρήγορα. Στο στεγνό δρόμο είναι πραγματικά άψογα, πολύ καλή πρόσφυση και καταπληκτικά στο φρενάρισμα. Αυτό που με εξέπληξε ήταν στον βρεγμένο δρόμο όπου και προσφέρει πολύ μεγάλη ασφάλεια για καλοκαιρινό ελαστικό. Έχει σχετικά χαμηλά επίπεδα θορύβου.
Στον αντίποδα, μια που είναι μαλακό ελαστικό, σε στροφές με αρκετή ταχύτητα κάνει το αυτοκίνητο να γέρνει αρκετά και είναι κάτι που πρέπει να συνηθίσεις διότι έχει μεγάλα επίπεδα πρόσφυσης όπως προανέφερα.
Μέχρι στιγμής δεν παρουσιάζει κάποιο σπινάρισμα ή εμφανείς φθορές στο πέλμα.
Θα το συνιστούσα αν κάποιος ενδιαφέρεται για ένα σπορ ελαστικό με χαμηλά επίπεδα θορύβου.
Αναθεώρηση 2021: Μετα απο σχεδόν μία 4ετία η άποψή μου είναι ότι αν δεν το θέλεις για στροφές είναι ένα πάρα πολύ καλό λάστιχο, αποδίδει απο την αρχή, δεν γλυστράει στο ξεκίνημα, τρομερό σε aquaplaning και γενικά στη βροχή, εξαιρετικό στα φρένα και αν έμεινε παρκαρισμένο αρκετά λόγω lockdown κανένα πρόβλημα.
Όπως όμως ανέφερα για στροφές και απότομες μετατοπίσεις βάρους είναι απλά τραγικό, νιώθεις σαν να οδηγάς σε μπαλόνια. Απο άνεση, ότι λακούβα περνάς τη νιώθεις.

I wore it 4 years ago on a golf 5 gt, very good performance, very good grip on dry and wet roads, a bit hard but once it warms up it's fine. The problem is that from the first year it started to crack and "break", resulting in the need for replacement in the second year without being particularly worn. For the 500 euros I had paid back then for a set of four, I can say that they are not worth it in the long run.
Before this, I was using Nokian, with the Dunlop tires the noise increased significantly and I also noticed a change in fuel consumption. I replaced them with Fulda, which are more economical in their market, and I can say that I am satisfied.

Το κακο είναι ότι από τον 1ο κιόλας χρόνο ξεκίνησε να κάνει ρωγμές και να "σπάει" με αποτέλεσμα στον 2ο χρόνο να θέλουν αλλαγή χωρίς να έχουν φαγωθεί ιδιαίτερα . Για τα 500ευρα που είχα δώσει τότε για 4αδα μπορώ να πω ότι δεν αξίζουν σε βάθος χρόνου.
Πριν από αυτό φορούσα nokian , με τα Dunlop αυξήθηκε αρκετά ο θόρυβος και παρατήρησα και αλλαγή στην κατανάλωση .Τα αντικατέστησα με Fulda που είναι πιο οικονομικά στην αγορά τους και μπορώ να πω ,πως είμαι ευχαριστημένος .

Τον 1ο χρονο ολα καλα. Κρατηματα στον δρομο,σε στροφες και φρεναρισμα.
Απο κει και περα, αρχισε να γλυστραει σε στροφες ,και σε κλειστες στροφες,με νορμαλ ταχυτητα νομιζεις οτι θα βγει το λαστιχο απο την ζαντα ! Επισης γλυστραει στο φρεναρισμα αρκετα.
Εχει κανει ρωγμες,λες και το εχω 4-5 χρονια.
Παω για αλλαγη μετα απο 2.5 χρονια περιπου.
Ειχα τα turanza πριν,ολα καλα. Τωρα θα δοκιμασω και τα continental premium contact 7, για τα οποια διαβαζω καλα σχολια. Θα δειξει !

I have seen in practice everything they promise. Soft tire that absorbs many of the road shocks. I come from Bridgestone and I see a difference in favor of Dunlop in this. At low to medium speeds, I would dare to say 10/10 in this area.
After the first 500 km, I started pushing it ...turns.
What I have to get used to is the "bubble" feeling compared to before. That is, they filter the road very well (positive for me, but I need to get used to it).
A characteristic that was greatly enhanced when after 600 km I changed the atmosphere with nitrogen. Due to the low profile, the change is dramatic.
And let's get to the essence.
Both in dry and wet conditions, the tires have excellent performance. Excellent directional stability, even in slalom test conditions.
Positive that they reach operating temperature quickly.
At speeds up to 70 km, it is difficult to detect differences between the tires on the market, so we appreciate the positive extra filtering.
From 70 to 120 is the range where you feel the air cushion between the tire and the road (it has no impact on performance. I'm talking about sensation).
At speeds from 130-200 km, they "stick" down, assisted by the aerodynamics of the car. In open-fast curves, they are in their element, regardless of the quality of the pavement.
In summary, an excellent purchase. It's a bit unfamiliar to what I mentioned before and I have to get used to it. Don't expect anything bad. Just different from my previous experience.
I consider it an excellent purchase, which I do not regret (based on the data so far).
I highly recommend them for "calm power" driving, but not for drivers who enjoy twisty roads and fast helical routes, where the characteristic of isolation-filtering of the road is not useful.
We still have to see how they evolve over time, in terms of performance and wear.

Εχω δει στην πραξη ολα οσα υποσχονται. Μαλακο λαστιχο που απορροφά πολλους απο τους κραδασμους του δρομου. Ερχομαι απο Bridgestone και βλέπω μια διαφορά υπερ του Dunlop σ αυτο. Σε χαμηλες -μεσες ταχυτητες θα τολμουσα να μιλησω για 10/10 σ αυτον τον τομέα.
Μετά τα 500 πρωτα χλμ , ξεκινησα να του ανεβαζω ...στροφες.
Αυτο που πρεπει να συνηθισω ειναι η αισθηση " φουσκας" που εχω σε σχεση με πριν. Δηλαδη φιλτραρουν το οδοστρωμα πολυ ( για μενα θετικό, αλλά χρειάζομαι εξοικείωση ).
Χαρακτηριστικο που ενισχηθηκε κατα πολυ οταν μετα τα 600 χλμ αλλάξα την ατμοσφαιρα με αζωτο. Λογω ( μαλλον) χαμηλου προφιλ, η αλλαγη ειναι θεαματικη.
Και πάμε στα της ουσιας.
Και σε στεγνο και σε βρεγμενο τα λαστιχα εχουν αριστη αποδοση. Αριστη κατευθντικοτητα, ακομη και σε συνθηκες ...slalom test.
Θετικο το οτι φτανουν σε θερμοκρασια λειτουργίας τάχιστα.
Σε ταχυτητες μεχρι 70 χλμ δυσκολα εντοπιζεις διαφορες αναμεσα στα ελλαστικα της αγορας, οπότε κραταμε το θετικο του εξτρα φιλτραρισματος.
Απο 70 εως 120 ειναι το φασμα που νιωθεις το στρωμα αερα που μεσολαβει αναμεσα σε ελαστικο και οδοστρωμα ( δεν εχει καμια επιπτωση στην αποδοση. Μιλάω για αισθηση).
Σε ταχυτητες απο 130-200 χλμ " βιδωνουν" κατω, επικουρουμενα απο την αεροδυναμικη του αυτοκινητου. Στις ανοικτες -γρηγορες καμπες βρισκονται στο στοιχειο τους αδιαφορωντας για την ποιοτητα του ταπητα.
Συνοψίζοντας άριστη αγορα. Ξενιζει λιγο αυτο που προανεφερακαι πρεπει να συνηθισω. Μη φανταστει κανεις κατι κακο. Απλά διαφορετικο σε σχεση με τα προηγουμενα μου.
Τη θεωρω αριστη αγορα, την οποια και ( με τα μεχρι τωρα δεδομενα ) δε μετανιωνω.
Τα συνιστω ανεπιφύλακτα για οδηγηση " ηρεμης δυναμης", αλλα οχι σε οδηγους που αρεσκονται σε φιδισιους δρομους και γρηγορες ελικοειδης διαδρομες, οπου το χαρακτηριστικο απομόνωσης-φιλτραρισματος του δρομου, δεν ειναι χρησιμο.
Μενει να δουμε και το πως εξελισσονται στην πορεια του χρονου, οσον αφορα την αποδοση, αλλά και τη φθορά τους.

In audi A3 1.8T I have not tried any other tire. I have no problem. Neither on dry nor on wet road (with normal driving). At the moment they have done 35000 km, I have them for 5 years and I will change them preventively. They have not worn out, they have no problem. The Sport Maxx RT 2 were installed in September 2017 on an Astra H 1.6T, replacing the very good Sport Maxx RT and have done about 10,000 km.
I would say they are just as good if not better than the RT. They definitely heat up and perform faster. On dry roads, they are truly impeccable, with very good grip and amazing braking. What surprised me was their performance on wet roads, where they offer great safety for a summer tire. They have relatively low levels of noise.
On the other hand, being a soft tire, in turns at high speeds, it makes the car lean quite a bit, which is something you have to get used to because it has high levels of grip as mentioned before.
So far, there is no noticeable spinning or wear on the tread.
I would recommend it if someone is interested in a sport tire with low levels of noise.
Review 2021: After almost four years, my opinion is that if you don't want it for turns, it is a very good tire. It performs well from the start, doesn't slip at the beginning, is excellent in aquaplaning and generally in the rain, and has exceptional braking. If it stayed parked for a long time due to lockdown, there are no issues.
However, as I mentioned for turns and abrupt weight shifts, it is simply tragic. You feel like you're driving on balloons. In terms of comfort, you feel every pothole you encounter.
Τα Sport Maxx RT 2 τοποθετήθηκαν τον Σεπτέμβριο του 2017 σε Astra H 1.6T, αντικαθιστώντας τα πολύ καλά Sport Maxx RT και έχουν κάνει γύρω στα 10.000χλμ.
Θα έλεγα πως είναι το ίδιο καλά αν όχι και καλύτερα απο τα RT. Σίγουρα ζεσταίνονται και αποδίδουν πιο γρήγορα. Στο στεγνό δρόμο είναι πραγματικά άψογα, πολύ καλή πρόσφυση και καταπληκτικά στο φρενάρισμα. Αυτό που με εξέπληξε ήταν στον βρεγμένο δρόμο όπου και προσφέρει πολύ μεγάλη ασφάλεια για καλοκαιρινό ελαστικό. Έχει σχετικά χαμηλά επίπεδα θορύβου.
Στον αντίποδα, μια που είναι μαλακό ελαστικό, σε στροφές με αρκετή ταχύτητα κάνει το αυτοκίνητο να γέρνει αρκετά και είναι κάτι που πρέπει να συνηθίσεις διότι έχει μεγάλα επίπεδα πρόσφυσης όπως προανέφερα.
Μέχρι στιγμής δεν παρουσιάζει κάποιο σπινάρισμα ή εμφανείς φθορές στο πέλμα.
Θα το συνιστούσα αν κάποιος ενδιαφέρεται για ένα σπορ ελαστικό με χαμηλά επίπεδα θορύβου.
Αναθεώρηση 2021: Μετα απο σχεδόν μία 4ετία η άποψή μου είναι ότι αν δεν το θέλεις για στροφές είναι ένα πάρα πολύ καλό λάστιχο, αποδίδει απο την αρχή, δεν γλυστράει στο ξεκίνημα, τρομερό σε aquaplaning και γενικά στη βροχή, εξαιρετικό στα φρένα και αν έμεινε παρκαρισμένο αρκετά λόγω lockdown κανένα πρόβλημα.
Όπως όμως ανέφερα για στροφές και απότομες μετατοπίσεις βάρους είναι απλά τραγικό, νιώθεις σαν να οδηγάς σε μπαλόνια. Απο άνεση, ότι λακούβα περνάς τη νιώθεις.
I am completely satisfied with this tire in 225/45/17. I have been using it for two years and it has never caused me any problems. There is no perfect tire for wet road conditions, so I rated it so-so. It has held up well against potholes so far. I will buy them again!

I wore it 4 years ago on a golf 5 gt, very good performance, very good grip on dry and wet roads, a bit hard but once it warms up it's fine. The problem is that from the first year it started to crack and "break", resulting in the need for replacement in the second year without being particularly worn. For the 500 euros I had paid back then for a set of four, I can say that they are not worth it in the long run.
Before this, I was using Nokian, with the Dunlop tires the noise increased significantly and I also noticed a change in fuel consumption. I replaced them with Fulda, which are more economical in their market, and I can say that I am satisfied.
Το φόρεσα πριν 4 χρόνια σε golf 5 gt , πολύ καλές αποδόσεις , πολύ καλά κρατήματα σε στεγνό και βρεγμένο οδόστρωμα, λίγο σκληρό αλλά μόλις ζεσταθεί δεν πιάνετε. Το κακο είναι ότι από τον 1ο κιόλας χρόνο ξεκίνησε να κάνει ρωγμές και να "σπάει" με αποτέλεσμα στον 2ο χρόνο να θέλουν αλλαγή χωρίς να έχουν φαγωθεί ιδιαίτερα . Για τα 500ευρα που είχα δώσει τότε για 4αδα μπορώ να πω ότι δεν αξίζουν σε βάθος χρόνου.
Πριν από αυτό φορούσα nokian , με τα Dunlop αυξήθηκε αρκετά ο θόρυβος και παρατήρησα και αλλαγή στην κατανάλωση .Τα αντικατέστησα με Fulda που είναι πιο οικονομικά στην αγορά τους και μπορώ να πω ,πως είμαι ευχαριστημένος .

Very good tire of medium hardness. I have purchased 225/45/R17 and I am fully satisfied. It doesn't easily notice potholes like other soft tires. It performs very well on wet roads. I highly recommend it.

I bought them too because of the good reviews and I regretted it. The first year everything was fine. Good grip on the road, in turns, and braking. After that, it started slipping in turns, and in tight corners, at normal speed you think the tire will come off the rim! It also slips quite a bit when braking.
