I broke it out of frustration because it drove me crazy, and I threw it away. I didn’t want their warranty or anything. Completely worthless. It keeps freezing all the time. To watch a movie, you’d have to make a vow to a saint.

Many times it doesn't turn on, it takes a long time to connect to WiFi even though the router is right next to it, and generally I would look to buy another one. On the positive side, it is compatible with all platforms (TELEKOM, NETFLIX, DISNEY, etc.)

The best and most VFM stick for Android TV (Netflix, Stremio, etc.). Don’t bother with cheaper ones without official licenses, etc. Get this one and you’re set. I have 4 from the previous generation (also the 4K ones) and now I got the new one for a friend. The only thing I would have liked is for the new generation to have a bit more RAM, just to make it a little more future proof. For now it works flawlessly and never lags. Note that I also have an Nvidia Shield in my good home cinema; it is definitely superior, but for the money the Xiaomi is a no-brainer for a simple user.

It is incredibly slow!! So much so that many times it drives me crazy and I prefer to watch anything from my phone screen

I would give less than one star if that were possible. The device is disappointing in everyday use. It constantly freezes, responds very slowly, and many times using it becomes truly frustrating.

Although the idea of a small Smart TV Stick is practical, the performance of this model did not satisfy me at all. The user experience is very poor, and I cannot recommend it to anyone who wants smooth and reliable operation.

Completely useless; from the start it was flickering both on the old TV and on the new latest-generation LG I tested it on. I threw my money away, and the same thing went in the trash.

There is no zero, that is why I gave it one star. Personally, I just threw it away. After 3 restarts of the stick, the router, the extender, and over 4-5 hours of useless hassle, it does not recognize Netflix and gives an error. If you are not a P/C programmer with a PhD from MIT, I don't know how you will manage and through what process to watch Netflix.

On Cosmote TV you watch a live match and it freezes... also it can kick you out and take you back to the home screen... with a 300 Mbps internet line at home..

after a couple of years this thing stopped working properly it randomly disconnects from streaming services goes to the home menu on its own and it disconnects from it's remote all the time

Unfortunately, I have not been satisfied... Most of the time, the remote control does not communicate with the stick. Netflix does not load even from a browser... Big disappointment...

It is a bit slow but it's okay for a holiday home and not for everyday use! It works quite well with fast internet

There are no settings in the wifi for VPN... I downloaded a VPN app but it doesn't run properly, it always takes a long time to load, speed is terrible and almost always there is no internet. Maybe the app is to blame, although on another box of a different brand the VPN works very well, and the VPN is paid. So, for those who want it for movies with VPN, I would suggest you find another brand that doesn't have these features locked.

What it offers
Full HD 1080p image (not 4K)
Android TV with apps from Google Play
Netflix / YouTube / Prime Video ready
Chromecast built-in for casting from mobile
Bluetooth remote control with voice commands
Google Assistant for voice search
Wi-Fi 2.4GHz / 5GHz
Bluetooth remote control (does not include 2xAAA batteries)

Disadvantages
It has 1GB RAM, so it is not very fast with heavy apps
Not 4K
If you want something faster in the future, better get a 4K model
If you find it under €40, it’s really worth it.
If it goes close to €50+, better look for a 4K stick which is more powerful.

I have concluded that these are the best. Especially the latest model never disappoints you! For its price, it is very fair

pay a little more for the 4K, it works on my Philips 55" with power from the usb. The quality is good without any lag

It freezes incredibly often, many times I thought it was broken. It still works but it freezes at any moment

I bought it to watch Apple TV as my smart TV does not support downloading the app. It is a pretty good option if someone does not want to buy a TV with AirPlay! However, it is a bit slow to respond and load content sometimes!

At first it was amazing, after 2-3 years of use it completely broke down! In the meantime, after the first year, sometimes the controller would disconnect but it would reconnect easily. Mainly towards the end it gave me trouble but until then it was well worth the money and more!

The product is relatively good. It does its job. Personally, I use Netflix, YouTube, etc., and I am satisfied. However, it keeps freezing constantly

After 10 days I regretted not burning my money instead of buying this thing; I would have wasted less time than it takes every now and then for it to start up, I would have had less worry about the result, and I would have enjoyed the spectacle.

After about half a year of using it and seeing how much it freezes and shuts down for no reason, I’m wondering whether I could look into claiming compensation for emotional distress from using it.

Do not buy it! The device is quite old and cannot handle new applications or even the Android software itself. The remote control disconnects constantly and does not even work when connected, because instead of an RFID sensor it connects via Bluetooth. The device has 1GB of RAM which does not even allow you to navigate the main menu.

At first it worked relatively well. It was lagging but I considered it normal. After about a year and a half it completely froze and never worked again. Very bad product!

It is very good and useful, I didn't like that it doesn't have Google Chrome as an app, not even in the store.

just throw it away..... I bought it for nothing even though many people here wrote about it, I didn't listen to them..... it freezes, freezes, freezes, I can't watch cosmote tv..... it's for the trash

I have been using it for over a year, it works normally, but sometimes it freezes and to get it working again it needs to be unplugged

I made a purchase and within 1 month the remote control doesn't work, wasted money, I didn't expect the remote to break from one day to the next, it just stopped working, I even changed the batteries, nothing

Simple and minimal in energy saving, the “Mi” Smart TV Stick 4K with (ANDROID 11 O.S.), but customer support or service does not exist, resulting in the initial setup and use of the device being somewhat paradoxical. Although there was no special case requiring the user to have personalized guidance with the device, in the package that includes the device and its accessories, and within the very minimal instruction sheet with only pictures, it is difficult to read, and combined with the lack of references to websites and online connection instructions...

The worst, it doesn't enter easily, when you try to watch movies it kicks you out, no no, very bad choice, it's not even usable

it keeps rebooting and connecting disconnecting if you are lucky it works well for 20 minutes and then disconnects from phone and internet!!! don't buy

I use it to watch Cosmote TV. It is unacceptable. It lags, freezes the screen and you can't watch anything. I sent them an email, they didn't reply. I called them and no one answered!!!
