Well.....basic operating rules:
- We do not leave curtains exposed,
- We do not leave socks and other objects on the floor,
- We leave doors open,
- We do not change anything in the house (because it would need to be mapped again and we would confuse it),
- We do not lift it from its path when it is in operation,
- No dark conditions during operation (we turn on lights in dark spaces),
- No direct sunlight on its sensors.
If anything from the above changes, the vacuum loses its orientation. I imagine that the others who have a problem with this specific vacuum are not doing something right from the above.
Now, in summary: The vacuum is amazing! Do a search on the internet, watch a couple of reviews on YouTube where they rank it among much more expensive models, and you will understand what I mean. Amazing vacuuming, mopping, not as most people understand it, but still, I am completely satisfied. The noise is much less than a good quality conventional electric vacuum, the battery is super as it cleans 110 square meters in 78 minutes (the vacuum measures 65 square meters as it excludes furniture that is on the floor, desks, chairs, etc.) and the battery only drops to 60%! The main advantage of the vacuum, in my opinion, is its height, as it fits under furniture that is over 8 centimeters tall! In other words, it fits under sofas and beds with the mentioned height! Height was a basic requirement for me as it saves us from the painful kneeling! Other vacuums with cameras and sensors obviously would not clean under furniture!
You can't imagine how much dirt it collects to the point where you will question and doubt the abilities of your wife!
The price is at its lowest at the moment, especially compared to Xiaomi models sold in the market through the Greek representation! Of course, there will obviously be a problem in case of damage, as the warranty is provided through the online store where it was purchased! However, consider that its price is almost half of the others in the market!
One drawback of the vacuum is that it does not read very dark and black objects correctly, resulting in it bumping into them. I have black frames and a dark beige sideboard, and it stumbles a bit! Also, when there is a lot of sunlight inside the house, it also hits the furniture. The solution is to limit the direct sunlight entering the house and as for the black furniture you may have, put restrictions on its path through the application, which is very easy as a process!
I should note that the application is from Xiaomi (as the company is a subsidiary of Xiaomi). There is also a corresponding Xiaomi model with the same characteristics, just with a different code name.
In short............I highly recommend it!
